 > Marko Simsa: Walzerschritt und Polkahit – Johann Strauß für Kinder

For children aged 5 and over

Ein Konzert unter Donner und Blitz mit Tritsch-Tratsch an der schönen blauen Donau für Menschen ab 5

Everything here revolves around the lively music of the famous waltz and polka king Johann Strauss-Sohn, his brothers and his father. And the young audience can look forward to some musical surprises.
After all, who has ever sung the "Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka"? It's not difficult at all: "Busy as bees, buzz, buzz..." it sounds like a big choir. Who has heard the cuckoo call of the "Krapfenwaldl-Polka" and immediately imitated it? Who thinks more of pizza than plucking strings when they hear the "Pizzicato Polka", which Johann Strauss' son came up with together with his brother Josef? Who finds the lightning in the polka "Unter Donner und Blitz" far too loud? And who has ever danced a waltz to the tune of "The Beautiful Blue Danube"?
Marko Simsa leads through the program with a lively presentation and invites his audience to sing along and, of course, to dance!
