History of the house
Vienna has always been a city where people were not afraid to find unconventional approaches to music.
Otto Nicolai founded the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in this building in 1842. Archduke Carl had previously lived in the historic palace. There has always been an interplay between old and new here.
