OPERATTE WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN – DIE FLEDERMAUS by JOHANN STRAUSS

For kids aged 3 and up

“Yes, very funny, ha, ha, ha, is the thing, ha, ha, ha…”

What is an operetta, how do you dance a waltz, and who was Johann Strauss?

Let us flutter together with the two bats Schani and Nanni into the fairytale realm of operetta and sing the most beautiful songs of the Waltz King together.

Gernot Kranner, a long-time soloist at the Vienna Volksoper, sings, dances and tells stories – and in doing so, he amusingly explains to his young sing-along audience everything worth knowing about the queen of operettas and her composer.

An instructive hour full of waltz bliss and polka flair

Walter Lochmann accompanies on the orchestral piano

"Happy is he who forgets what cannot be changed..."
