The Guangzhou Opera House Youth Orchestra is an independent youth ensemble of the Guangzhou Opera House. Combining strings with wind and percussion instruments, it represents the vibrant artistic energy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The ensemble has performed in 24 special concerts and received international awards in Singapore, Guangdong, and Malaysia. Under the direction of Yiqin Cheng, the orchestra will present classical music from their home region, including works by Dvořák, at the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna
