Hayley Reardon is a celebrated folk-pop artist and storyteller in the truest sense of the word. Her songs serve as postcards from an artist brave enough to forge her own path. The singer made the decision to embark on an uncompromising life when she left Nashville to tour the world with her music. In addition to her recent stay in Dachau, Germany, for a six-month residency awarded by the city, she has spent the last five years carrying her songs and her guitar around the globe, gathering experiences, inspiration, and heartfelt connections along the way. The artist masterfully channels her vibrant stories through music, capturing even the subtlest nuances of the human experience with striking clarity.
Reardon recently caused a sensation with her single “Losing From Within,” attracting the attention of Spotify editorial playlists such as Fresh Folk, Folk Pop, Morning Coffee, and Today’s Singer/Songwriters. Her EP “In The Good Light” (June 2022) was recorded in Barcelona at The Sound of Wood Studio with fellow Catalan musicians Pau Figueres (one of Spain’s finest classical guitarists) and Aniol Bestit Collellmir (sound engineer). The EP embodies Reardon’s essence with a touch of Spanish flair on some of the tracks. During the recording process, the artist discovered a new sense of home in Spain: “It was amazing to travel the world and work with people who were essentially strangers from a completely different culture,” she says, “and to feel so deeply and effortlessly understood.” Her follow-up EP, titled “Changes,” was released in June 2023.
Reardon grew up in Massachusetts and immersed herself in music at the age of 15. For over a decade, she has honed her craft, sharing the stage with artists such as Lori McKenna, Rodney Crowell, and Anaïs Mitchell. Her raw artistry possesses a lyrical and melodic weight that transcends her age and has been described as "brilliantly moving folk/pop with lyrical depth and soul" (Performer Magazine) and "a melancholic little masterpiece" (American Songwriter Magazine).
