Australian singer-songwriter and blues-rock guitarist Hugo Race has been a legend for 40 years. He is one of the founding members of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. He toured for many years as a post-punk troubadour with bands like Hugo Race & True Spirits, playing psychedelic and roots rock. This year, he released his sixth studio album, *I Made It All Up For You*, with his current band, Hugo Race Fatalists, from Italy.
Race describes himself as a political musician and an heir to the Beat Generation. His music reflects his admiration for Chris Eckmann, Johnny Cash, and Leonard Cohen.
