With his new album "I Made It All Up For You," Hugo Race returns to the stage together with his Italian band The Fatalists . Following successful collaborations with Steve Kilbey ( While Italy Dreamed ), Michelangelo Russo ( 100 Years ), and Gianni Maroccolo ( The Vigil , winner of the prestigious Premio Ciampi Speciale ), the Australian musician presents a work that is as intense as it is atmospheric.
The new songs combine profound, existential songwriting with a captivating soundscape encompassing roots rock, electronica, Italian film soundtracks, and desert rock. The album was created in extraordinary locations – from a floating studio on Lake Puccini to Studio Al Mare – together with some of the most exciting musicians in the Italian alternative scene.
