Leopold.Vienna: “Love and the Inn”
"Love and the Inn" – this theme has already been featured at ViennaBluesSpring… now, so to speak, the next installment. And it's once again about the four seasons, but not in the classic style, rather in Leopold.Wien's very special way. Relationships, matters of the heart, and a touch of culinary delights are the themes to which Sascha Boctor (accordion) , Wolfgang Wamser (guitar) , and, for the first time, Katrin Fuchs Georg Berner (bass) and Antal Bakro (percussion) provide the rhythm .
Sascha Boctor , who grew up in the Kagran Bronx, learned piano, then guitar, then piano again, and later a bit of blues harp and accordion. Since the early 1990s, he has not only been active in music but also one of the voices of Radio Vienna.
Wolfgang Wamser , who grew up in the Vostadt district across the street in Ottakring, returned to Vienna after studying guitar in London and Munich, where he pursued a multifaceted musical career.
The two met and have been making music together in various formations for almost 20 years, ultimately launching the project Leopold.Wien . Based, as befits both of them, in Vienna's Vostadt district, they were looking for a female voice for their program "Love and the Tavern." They found this in singer and actress Katrin Fuchs , who—as fate would have it—met them in Vostadt and joined them.
Together with Antal Bakro on drums and Georg Berner on bass, the three present a funny, contemplative, musical live audiobook – situated between chanson and rock'n'roll – divided into four seasons in the original Viennese dialect.
