Everything here revolves around the lively music of the famous Waltz and Polka King, Johann Strauss II, his brothers, and his father. And the young audience can look forward to some musical surprises.
After all, who has ever sung the "Tritsch-Tratsch Polka"? It's not difficult at all: "Busy as the bees, buzz, buzz..." goes the large chorus. Who has heard the cuckoo call of the "Krapfenwaldl Polka" and immediately imitated it? Who, when listening to the "Pizzicato Polka," which Johann Strauss II conceived together with his brother Josef, thinks more of pizza than of plucking the strings? For whom is the lightning in the polka "Thunder and Lightning" much too loud? And who has ever waltzed to the melody of "The Blue Danube"?
