In his songs, he combines important current issues with deeply personal stories, wrapping them in nostalgic and honest folk arrangements that simply compel you to sing along. His cover of the Four Non Blondes classic "What's Going On?" addresses the storming of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021, while his song "Banned from the USA" supports Bruce Springsteen against the attacks of the right-wing U.S. regime.
