American concert violinist, recording artist and music educator Michael T. Jamanis presents a varied concert program together with his mother Frances Veri.
Accompanied by Frances Veri – part of the renowned American piano duo Veri & Jamanis – he interprets works by Antonín Dvořák, Béla Bartók and Gabriel Fauré.
Both artists are graduates of the Juilliard School in New York and have dedicated their artistic work for many years to the interpretation, performance, recording and dissemination of classical music.
The approximately one-hour concert includes, among other works, Dvořák's Four Romantic Pieces , Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances , and Fauré's Violin Sonata for Violin and Piano . The program is complemented by works from Claude Bolling, George Gershwin, William Grant Still, and the contemporary American composer Richard Field.
