Line-up on March 28, 2025

SALÒ (AT)
The music that the wonderfully anarchic Viennese riot-electroclash artist SALÓ makes on his second album, "Problemzone Mensch" (Problem Zone Human) – is it still punk?
In "Problemzone Mensch," SALÒ explores the full drama, but above all, the absurdity of earthly existence. Pretensions, all the rebellion and failure, the inner struggles, love, and the abysses of human existence are addressed with a lightness, a mockery, but also the insight that SALÒ is, of course, always singing about himself. This has resulted in the most diverse music of his career to date, which nevertheless remains 100 percent SALÒ at its core: Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW), post-punk, and electroclash are still the central coordinates, but through his voice and the way these styles are combined, "Problemzone Mensch" transcends this mere enumeration.

Ankathie Koi (AT)
Singer, composer, and entertainer Ankathie Koi hails from Upper Bavaria but has lived and worked in Vienna for many years. With her powerful and multifaceted voice, her flair for the dramatic, and her unique personality, she captivates her audience. She released her first single as Ankathie Koi in 2014: "Kate, it's hunting season" has long since become an FM4 classic. For her third album, "PIKANT," Ankathie Koi returns to her native language and sings in German. She describes the result as modern retro-pop.

KÄSSY (AT)
KÄSSY is anything and anyone she wants to be – singer, instrumentalist, producer, and performer. One moment her music sounds like you're wandering through the deepest depths of an eclectic, sensory-overloading hell; the next, it sounds like carefree floating. She's self-taught in almost every aspect of her art. Her first demos saw the light of day through the curtains of her childhood bedroom. Soon after, her debut single, "Skirt On Pants," emerged. Beauty meets ugliness, soft meets harsh. It's precisely these contradictions and plot twists in her music, her distinctive voice, and the eclectic, colorful production that allow KÄSSY to express herself without compromise.

GARDENS (AT)
The Viennese group GARDENS captivates on their debut album "FLAWS" with uncanny clarity, warmth, and self-assurance. The quartet, consisting of Luca Celine Müller, Peter Benedikt Mathis, Patrick Stieger, and Laura Keiblinger, gained recognition with their first two singles, "Talk" and "Waves." GARDENS' music is a lush blend of indie pop, 60s psych-folk, and dream pop.
