Experience music - with children's tours in the Haus der Musik

Our pedagogically trained music brokers: Inside, the needs of your group are flexible. The House of Music offers suitable stations and program items for all age groups.
The students: Inside, get an insight into musical sound phenomena, learn exciting stories about the great composers of the Viennese classical music or conduct the world -famous Viennese Philharmonic. Experience an exciting journey into the world of sounds and music with exciting, funny and unique stations.
Guided tours
- Inquiries for the winter semester can be edited from August 1st.
- Inquiries for the summer semester can be edited from January 1st.
Age group 6 - 12 years
We offer a tour of our museum for school classes with children aged 6 and 12 from Monday to Friday at 9:30 a.m.
Your class expects a colorful mix of music history, sound phenomena and many games.
Children get to know the Viennese Philharmonic, can compose a waltz themselves and experience which senses can use to perceive music.
Cost per child: €7 (€6 entrance fee + €1 guided tour fee).
One accompanying adult gets free entry for every 10 students.
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Minimum number: 10 children
A maximum number 25 children
Guided tours for elementary educators: inside
For our very young visitors: Inside we recommend an independent visit - without a guided tour - in the museum. Since the House of Music offers an abundance of impressions, in an individual visual speed.
As support, we invite you to the educator: regularly to special tours in the inside, in which you can get to know the museum in advance and plan the process for your visit individually. The focus is on the interactive stations that are particularly suitable for kindergarten children.

Information for group visits without leadership
Our museum is interactive and designed in a self -explanatory manner, which is why a leadership is also optional for school classes.
Accompanying materials for all age groups from 6 to 18 years are available on our homepage The students lead age -appropriate puzzles: Inside through the exhibition, convey exciting content and invite you to actively deal with the interactive installations.
With our group form you can register your school class.
