THE LINE-UP:
DIVES
With their latest album "Wanna Take You There", the Viennese indie trio DIVES present a collection of songs full of great pop moments. The group led by Dora de Goederen (drums), Viktoria Kirner (vocals, bass) and Tamara Leichtfried (vocals, guitar) shake the refreshing songs on their second album out of their sleeves with ease. While their debut "Teenage Years Are Over" was still characterized by rough and unpolished garage guitar sound moments, DIVES now present themselves more tidied up and let their charming nonchalance shine through more compactly with the haunting two-part vocals.
DIVES party, evoke images of road trips with best friends or chilling out on the beach, but remain a band of important messages shared in personal stories. The DIVES' sound was timeless, it remains timeless, clever and versatile: and we sing and dance along until the sun comes up.
Peter The Human Boy
Peter B. Mathis aka Peter The Human Boy is a self-confessed slow rocker and has an audible preference for dreamy slacker guitar lines, nostalgic lyrics, vintage synthesizers and, last but not least, DIY spirit. The self-produced debut album "Goodbye Summer" was released in fall 2019 as a dreamy mix of surf rock and bedroom pop. Indie artists such as Mac DeMarco, Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) and Natalie Mering (Weyes Blood) have left their mark on the multi-instrumentalist. With the release of the second album in May 2022, Peter is opening the doors of his psyche a little wider than before. Stranger's Life is a search for identity in a changing world, characterized by shimmering synths, Motown-like grooves and psychedelic guitar parts.
PTHB has now collected 2 million streams and toured across Germany and Austria. Live, Peter performs his songs with his bandmates Erika Schweighofer, Laura Keiblinger, Patrick Stieger and Jannik Rieß as an experimental quintet that has already mixed everything from Bob Dylan to Britney Spears into their set.

Ernesty International & the Kleine Herzkammerorchester
Ernesty International was founded in November 2007, when Ernst Tiefenthaler (singer and guitarist of the Viennese bands Bell Etage and Hotel Prestige) recorded a few songs in his late grandparents' house in Aschach/Donau, which were released on the album Ernesty International in 2009. He is a tradition-conscious and at the same time bright singer/songwriter with an Americana inclination, who intones his songs full of calm everyday observations and clever reflections on life, mostly in English. He performs live in various line-ups, sometimes with up to 7 musicians.
"It's hard to say how many albums by Ernst Tiefenthaler this is. The Viennese singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist records very diligently. But that is by no means a reproach, the new song series is one of his most successful. The ten tracks breathe and combine depth and nonchalance. Only the title is a little misleading: 'But Now the Demagogues Won' does not sound desperate, nor is it a militant protest album. Bittersweet beauty, that's it." (Sebastian Fasthuber, FALTER)

oh alien
oh alien is a question, an exclamation, a sigh, a joke, a love letter. The self-chosen term avant-garde pop is more of an expedient than an exhaustive description. In the field of tension between classical song forms and their dissolution, elegant ballads meet complex pop songs that always reveal a certain "weirdness". A sound that moves bodies and stirs thoughts - raw and electrifying.
Anselma Schneider, Luca Weigl and Rafael Henninger write "delicately spun songs" (Ö1) that tell of bouncy castle-sized micro-crises and the shimmering dreams of the mid-20s. Following the release of their first EP "This Might Be The Place" (2022) and a series of concerts at Haldern Pop Festival (DE) and Take the A-Train Festival, among others, oh alien teamed up with musician and producer Sixtus Preiss and spent an intensive summer in the studio together. Their debut album - in which Grammy award-winning US mixer Chris Tabron is also involved - will be released in 2024.
