At the latest since extreme heat and dry periods or heavy rain events, even in our latitudes, are no longer an exception and experts are increasingly referring to consequences and challenges in this regard, the urgent need for action can also be visible and noticeable for laypersons.

By certification with the Austrian environmental label, we make a clear sign that we take on ecological responsibility and actively work to question our processes and to optimize the processes and to make dealing with our resources as environmentally friendly as possible. The award with the environmental label confirms our efforts and motivates us to continue to invest in a sustainable future and to improve continuously. 

We lead the environmental sign because we, as a House of Music, recognize our responsibility for the protection of the environment and want to make our contribution to reducing environmental pollution and promoting sustainability.

We have already implemented this for the environment / for the environmental label:

• When purchasing new goods, attention is increasingly taken into account for durability, recyclability and recyclability. If possible, regional products are used or local companies are commissioned.
• Due to the progressive digitization, administrative work is increasingly paperless, which saves valuable resources. The newsletter to our interested parties is only sent in digital form. Print types such as flyers and brochures are largely produced on recycled paper.
• If possible, we pay attention to the use of natural products when cleaning. 
• In order to motivate our guests to get a climate -friendly journey, only arrival options by public transport are listed on our homepage.

Promote environmental awareness and sustainability:
We as a house of music actively campaign for environmental protection and promote sustainable practices and show that we take our responsibility towards the environment and subsequent generations seriously. By certification with the Austrian environmental label, we show that cultural institutions also bear social responsibility and actively perceive it.
