THE LINE-UP:
DIVES
The Viennese indie trio DIVES presents a collection of songs brimming with great pop moments on their latest album, "Wanna Take You There." The group, consisting of Dora de Goederen (drums), Viktoria Kirner (vocals, bass), and Tamara Leichtfried (vocals, guitar), effortlessly delivers the refreshing songs of their second album. While their debut, "Teenage Years Are Over," was characterized by raw and unpolished garage-style guitar sounds, DIVES now present a more polished sound, allowing their charming nonchalance and compelling two-part harmonies to shine through more effectively.
DIVES throw parties, evoke images of road trips with best friends or chilling out on the beach, but remain a band of important messages shared through personal stories. The sound of DIVES was timeless, and it remains timeless, clever and versatile: And we sing and dance along until sunrise.
Peter the Human Boy
Peter B. Mathis, aka Peter The Human Boy, is a self-proclaimed slow rocker with a clear penchant for dreamy slacker guitar lines, nostalgic lyrics, vintage synthesizers, and, last but not least, a DIY spirit. His self-produced debut album, "Goodbye Summer," arrived in the fall of 2019 as a dreamy mix of surf rock and bedroom pop. Indie artists like Mac DeMarco, Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), and Natalie Mering (Weyes Blood) have clearly left their mark on the multi-instrumentalist. With the release of his second album in May 2022, Peter opens the doors of his psyche a little wider than before. "Stranger's Life" is a search for identity in a changing world, characterized by shimmering synths, Motown-esque grooves, and psychedelic guitar parts.
PTHB has now amassed 2 million streams and toured extensively throughout Germany and Austria. Live, Peter performs his songs with his bandmates Erika Schweighofer, Laura Keiblinger, Patrick Stieger, and Jannik Rieß as an experimental quintet that has snuck everything from Bob Dylan to Britney Spears into their set.
Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys
Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys are an art-pop/alternative band based in Berlin. Led by South African-born artist Lucy Kruger, the group is known for creating atmospheric and intense music. Their prolific output and unforgettable live shows have garnered attention from both audiences and critics.
The current album, “Heaving,” pushes the band’s sonic boundaries, a testament to the consistent composing, recording, and live performances of the previous two years. The album was released in April 2023 by Unique Records, followed by a year-long tour in both Europe and South Africa.
Lucy Kruger has earned a reputation as a unique and accomplished singer and songwriter. She has since written and recorded a song with the renowned band "The Frank Popp Ensemble." She will also be featured as a vocalist on upcoming albums by "The Underground Youth" and the highly regarded alternative group "Swans.".

Ernesty International & the Little Heart Chamber Orchestra
Ernesty International was founded in November 2007 when Ernst Tiefenthaler (singer and guitarist of the Viennese bands Bell Etage and Hotel Prestige) recorded a few songs at his late grandparents' house in Aschach an der Donau. These songs were released in 2009 on the album "Ernesty International." He is a traditional yet vibrant singer-songwriter with an Americana bent, whose songs, full of quiet observations of everyday life and insightful reflections on life, are mostly sung in English. Live performances feature various lineups, sometimes with up to seven musicians.
“It’s hard to say which album this is by Ernst Tiefenthaler. The Viennese singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is a prolific recordist. But that’s by no means a criticism; this new collection of songs is among his most successful. The ten tracks breathe and combine depth and nonchalance. Only the title is a little misleading: 'But Now the Demagogues Won' doesn’t sound desperate, nor is it a militant protest album. Bittersweet beauty—that sums it up.” (Sebastian Fasthuber, FALTER)

Oh alien
Oh alien is a question, an exclamation, a sigh, a joke, a love letter. The self-chosen label avant-garde pop is more of a makeshift solution than an exhaustive description. In the tension between classical song forms and their dissolution, elegant ballads meet complex pop songs, in which a certain "weirdness" is always revealed. A sound that moves bodies and touches minds – raw and electrifying.
Anselma Schneider, Luca Weigl, and Rafael Henninger write "delicately spun songs" (Ö1) that tell of micro-crises blown out of proportion and the shimmering dreams of one's mid-twenties. After releasing their first EP, "This Might Be The Place" (2022), and playing a series of concerts, including at the Haldern Pop Festival (Germany) and the Take the A-Train Festival, oh alien teamed up with musician and producer Sixtus Preiss and spent an intensive summer in the studio together. Their debut album, created there—and featuring Grammy Award-winning US mixer Chris Tabron—will be released in 2024.
