Music, dance, and creativity for young music lovers! Our Strauss workshop at the House of Music is the perfect opportunity for children aged 6 and up to playfully immerse themselves in the sound world of Johann Strauss II. Together with experienced music educators and the pianist from KLASSIK COOL , the young participants will explore three-quarter time, the Viennese waltz, and many exciting stories surrounding the music of Strauss.
A workshop full of music and creativity
From the Tritsch-Tratsch Polka to the Perpetuum Mobile and the world-famous Waltz – here, people not only dance and jump, but also draw, design, and make music!
The children discover how Strauss's music is connected to famous Viennese locations such as the Ringstrasse, the Prater, and the Augarten. With great fun and imagination, they immerse themselves in the melodious world of the "Waltz King.".
